What is this?

You understand that a locally provided Accident & Emergency department is the difference between life and death for hundreds of people each year.

So you might be suprised to learn that managers at Chase Farm Hospital disagree with you. And in order to save money, they are proposing the closure of A&E - along with children's and women's services.

Save Chase Farm is a single-issue campaign group which has been formed to prevent this from happening. We are not politically affiliated to any party - but are working with anyone, including local GPs, who want to stop this madness.

And we need your support - without it Chase Farm A&E will close.

Find out what you can do:ACT NOW!

Here are our top five reasons to campaign against these proposals:

1. Fewer emergency cases will reach an A&E department within the vital 'Golden Hour'. This means death, pain and misery for Enfield residents.

2. Neither alternative A&E units - at Barnet and North Middlesex - will be able to cope with the additional patients. Barnet's A&E is already trying to treat twice as many patients as it was designed for.

3. These problems will only get worse - Enfield's population is growing and traffic congestion is worsening.

4. Do you trust managers who are running a one-star hospital and yet have a £31m black hole in their accounts?

5. The GPs of Enfield are united in rejecting these plans - we know that they put our health first.

Save Chase Farm is working hard to get this message out to the population of Enfield, Barnet, Cheshunt and the surrounding areas. Please help spread the word and join our campaign.

Chase Farm needs your support.
